AA Gent seems willing or obliged to cooperate with a transfer for the 22-year-old English centre-forward, Max Dean, if a good offer is made. Max Dean's performance during the past season was not at a high level. It is stated that, in principle, Max Dean would benefit from staying at Gent for another year to demonstrate his ability to play at a level higher than the Jupiler Pro League. Dean joined the club in July 2024 and his contract runs until 2028. He has four caps and four goals for England U20, and his current Transfermarkt valuation is €2.50m.
