Danish central midfielder Max Albæk is leaving Randers FC temporarily and will spend the rest of the year seeking regular playing time with VSK Aarhus in the 2nd Division. The 20-year-old player has been loaned to the 2nd Division club for the rest of 2026. Søren Pedersen, the football director, stated to the club's website that they had been looking for a solution for Max to get continuous playing time and that the opportunity had arisen at VSK Aarhus. Pedersen hopes that Albæk will return to Randers as a stronger player. Albæk joined Randers in August 2025, and his contract is set to expire in June 2028. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €25k.
