Villarreal have targeted Max Aarons for the next season, following the full-back's return to Bournemouth after a disappointing loan at Rangers. Aarons appears to have no future with the English Premier League club and is wanted by Villarreal in Spain. Villarreal are competing with Atletico Madrid for third place and will participate in the Champions League. The Spanish club would rather explore a loan option for Aarons, who has three years remaining on his contract at Bournemouth. The player has previous La Liga experience from a loan spell with Valencia.
