Tuttomercato reports on Fiorentina's potential interest in bringing Icardi back to Serie A. The outlet suggests the club's latest idea is a return for Icardi, described as sensational, who could mentor Pellegrino. The report also states this choice would not have a transfer fee but carries non-negligible risks, as Icardi is not considered an easy player to manage.

Fiorentina is considering signing free agent Mauro Icardi, a 33-year-old Argentine attacker, on the condition that Moise Kean transfers to Como. The former Galatasaray player has also received interest from other clubs in Serie A, and Lazio is described as actively attempting to sign him. Any club that wants to sign Icardi would need to meet his salary requirement of at least 3 million euros per year. The centre-forward has 8 caps and 1 goal for Argentina. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €4.00m.
