Fortuna Sittard is interested in extending the loan of Mattijs Branderhorst for another year. He played for Fortuna Sittard last season on loan from FC Utrecht. However, it remains uncertain if this will happen, as Branderhorst has returned to FC Utrecht and is also attracting interest from Sparta, who need a replacement after losing their goalkeeper Nick Olij to PSV.
