Gubbio is reportedly interested in Italian left-back Mattia Tonetto, who is likely to leave Triestina following the club's relegation to Serie D. According to Tuttoc.com, the Umbrian club has targeted the player, who was born in 2001, as it seeks new signings for the summer. Tonetto was previously a target for Vicenza in January for the role of vice-Costa. It is not yet clear if Gubbio's interest will result in a formal offer or if other clubs will also pursue the full-back. The 25-year-old joined Triestina in July 2024 and has a contract with the club until June 2026. In the 2025/2026 Serie C - A season, he made 21 appearances, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
