Campobasso FC has acquired Mattia Capoferri, an Italian left-footed defender born in 2001 who can play as a left-back or as a central defender. Capoferri joins from Pergolettese, for which he made 24 appearances last season, and has signed a two-year contract. The player chose Campobasso despite interest from several other clubs in Serie C and Serie B. He stated that he was convinced by the technical proposal and the seriousness of the club's project. Capoferri specified that the words of manager Devis Mangia were important in his decision, as was his conversation with director Figliomeni, who spoke to him about the concrete nature of the club's plans.
