Tuttomercato reports that Calcio Lecco 1912 has acquired 27-year-old Italian centre-back Matteo Arena from U.S. Salernitana. Calcio Lecco 1912 announced it has permanently acquired the defender's sporting rights from U.S. Salernitana, which ends the player's time in Campania after six months. Arena made 12 appearances for Salernitana after arriving from Arezzo in January and has signed a contract with the Lombardia club until June 30, 2028. U.S. Salernitana 1919 also communicated that an agreement for the permanent transfer had been reached with Lecco, and the club thanked Arena for his commitment and wished him well for the future. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €125k. Before the move, Arena had also been linked with Trento Calcio 1921 and Pro Vercelli.
