Leeds United, under manager Daniel Farke, are considering acquiring 18-year-old Colombian Deportivo Cali midfielder Matías Orozco. Liverpool are also interested in Orozco. Brentford had appeared to be the most likely club to sign the teenager, having made a formal approach. However, Brentford is not the English club that will sign him in the coming hours. Either Leeds or Liverpool are now the most probable destinations, with one of the two clubs expected to sign Orozco soon. The Colombian U21 international joined Deportivo Cali in July 2025 and has a contract that expires in June 2029. In the 2025/2026 domestic league season, he has made 14 appearances and scored one goal.
