A report from Bold on Monday stated that clubs including Vejle and Lyngby are very interested in loaning the 21-year-old Danish midfielder Mathias Jensen. Brøndby's head coach, Thomas Nørgaard, confirmed there is activity occurring that is not public. Nørgaard also stated the decision to leave Jensen out of the squad for the Silkeborg match was mutual, and added that the situation regarding the player's future should be resolved within a week. Jensen joined Bröndby in July 2025 and his contract runs until 2030. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €750k.
