Matheus Alves leaving São Paulo?

Mateus Alves, a regular player from São Paulo, has transferred to CSKA Moscow. The club announced the transfer on their Telegram channel. Alves has signed a contract until 2030 and will play under the number seven. His agent, Lekka De Camargo, believes Alves can immediately strengthen CSKA, although some adaptation time to Russian football is expected.

The transfer announcement is delayed because the president and general director of CSKA Moscow are not in Moscow. Kirill Breido, Director of Communications at CSKA, stated that there are no difficulties or delays on their side. The documents have been signed and sent by CSKA, awaiting signatures from the Brazilian side. The transfer is expected to be announced soon. Mateus Alves is already in Novogorsk and has even changed his previously chosen number. He has passed a medical examination prior to the transfer to CSKA Moscow.

Mateus Alves is in the shortlist of CSKA Moscow. Negotiations are ongoing, but the official results are yet to be awaited. Roman Babaev, the general director of CSKA Moscow, highlighted Alves as a young talented player with very good football qualities, recommended by the selection department and approved by the coaching staff. The transfer is currently in the preparatory stage. Transfermarkt currently estimates his market worth at 3.50m euros.
