Mateusz Żukowski Transfer from Śląsk Wrocław to Magdeburg

Mateusz Żukowski has permanently transferred from Śląsk Wrocław to 1. FC Magdeburg in the 2. Bundesliga. Initially, the clubs couldn't reach an agreement at the start of the transfer window. Żukowski suffered a serious foot injury, sidelining him for several months. Despite this setback, Magdeburg returned for him on Deadline Day and finalized the transfer. He will continue his rehabilitation at the club and is considered a long-term investment by the sporting director, Otmar Schork.

Mateusz Żukowski, after Śląsk Wrocław's relegation, has drawn interest from German club Magdeburg, as reported by Kamil Bętkowski. Magdeburg finished fifth in the last 2. Bundesliga season. The club is interested in the player. Śląsk Wrocław is open to letting Żukowski leave, but only if a better offer is received for him compared to his teammate, Piotr Samiec-Talar. Żukowski, a versatile player, appeared 31 times in the last Ekstraklasa season, scoring two goals, and he has also attracted the attention of several Polish clubs, including Motor Lublin, Wieczysta Kraków, and Raków Częstochowa.
