Górnik Zabrze has renewed Mateusz Jeleń's contract, which will now run until the end of June 2027. The club announced that Jeleń will spend the next season on loan at Sandecja Nowy Sącz. The 18-year-old goalkeeper has previously been part of Górnik Zabrze's reserve team, where he played in 38 matches and kept ten clean sheets. Sandecja Nowy Sącz, which earned promotion after securing the top spot in the fourth group of the third league last season with 74 points, will host Jeleń for the upcoming season. He becomes the fourth player to be signed by the club during the summer transfer window, following the arrivals of Wojciech Błyszko, Adam Brenkus, and Filip Piszczek.
