Mateja Milovanović Transfer from SC Heerenveen to Partizan

B92 reported on the signing of Mateja Milovanović by Partizan. Mateja Milovanović, a young player from Ajax's football academy and a former member of Heerenveen, has signed a four-year contract with Partizan. He is set to join his new teammates immediately at Zlatibor, where Partizan players are undertaking the first phase of their preparations for the upcoming season. Milovanović arrives as an alternative following the departures of Mihajlo Ilić, who returned to Bologna, and Aleksandar Filipović, who failed to reach an agreement with Partizan. Partizan did not incur a transfer fee as Milovanović mutually terminated his contract with the Dutch club.

According to 'Telegraf', Partizan has finalized all terms with Milovanović, a central defender from Herenveen. Milovanović is anticipated to join Partizan imminently, although the specific details of the transfer agreement between the Serbian and Dutch clubs remain undisclosed. Milovanović still has one year remaining on his contract with Herenveen. He had previously played in Ajax's youth teams and was anticipated to break into the first team, but his progress was impeded by recurring ankle injuries. Last summer, he transferred to Herenveen but did not manage to secure a spot in the first team. The transfer to Partizan is expected to provide him with more opportunities for playing time.
