Mateja Gašić has joined Vojvodina from Radnik Surdulica for a fee of approximately 450,000 euros. Vojvodina gave Gašić a contract until 2030, and he signed a four-year contract. Gašić stated that while there was interest and offers from clubs abroad, he chose Vojvodina as the best club for him. He also expressed his happiness about joining the club, mentioning that he refused offers from abroad for the move.

Vojvodina has sent an official offer to Radnik Surdulica for 23-year-old Serbian right-back Mateja Gašić. The club is interested in Gašić due to his strong performances. His contract with the club is valid until 30/06/2027. His market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €1.20m. Italian clubs Sampdoria and Genoa have also been linked with him. Radnik Surdulica must now decide whether to accept the offer for one of its most promising players.
