Matej Matić, a 21-year-old Croatian center-back from Polissya, is set to continue his career in the Polish championship. The club has officially announced his transfer to Polonia Bytom, which competes in the second division of the Polish championship. Matić has moved on a season-long loan. He had joined Polissya last summer as a free agent and participated in 11 official matches, where he recorded one assist. It was recently reported that head coach Ruslan Rotan did not require Matić in the first team. This transfer marks the second departure from Polissya in a single day, as the club also parted ways with Israeli midfielder Ofek Biton, who has returned to play in his homeland for Hapoel Haifa.
