Striker Massimo Zilli, who is owned by Cosenza, joined Frosinone in the summer on a loan deal that included an option to buy. Cosenza received 100,000 euros for the initial loan, and Frosinone's promotion to Serie A has triggered a clause for an additional payment. According to LaCNews24, this promotion results in an automatic bonus of 100,000 euros for Cosenza, bringing the total revenue from the deal to 200,000 euros. A further bonus of 100,000 euros, which was contingent on Zilli scoring 10 goals, was not activated as he only scored twice. Frosinone retains the option to purchase the player permanently for 500,000 euros. Before moving to Frosinone, Zilli had renewed his contract with Cosenza until June 30, 2027, and his future will be decided soon, though negotiations are not considered urgent.
