Marwan Alsahafi Transfer from Al Ittihad to Antwerp
Antwerp is pushing for the transfer of Marwan Al-Sahafi, a 21-year-old forward who was previously with Beerschot. After Beerschot's relegation, Al-Sahafi returned to Al-Ittihad but is not expected to get much playing time. Negotiations for a loan move without a purchase option are ongoing, and they are reportedly progressing well. Al-Sahafi is also interested in the transfer.
Royal Antwerp has made an official offer for Marwan Al-Sahafi, a 21-year-old forward who impressed at Beerschot with six goals last season. Antwerp showed interest in acquiring him after his return to Al-Ittihad following Beerschot's relegation. However, despite Antwerp's interest, Al-Sahafi appears set to move to the English Championship, with Blackburn Rovers leading the race to sign him. The deal with Blackburn is expected to be a loan with an option to buy, which reportedly excites Al-Sahafi more than the offer from Royal Antwerp. Watford and QPR have also shown interest, but Blackburn's project has reportedly captured the player's enthusiasm. If finalized, this transfer would mark the second time Blackburn has recruited a player from a Belgian team that faced relegation, following their acquisition of Dion De Neve from KV Kortrijk.
