Albanian-German player Marvin Cuni, 24, has joined Olimpija on a one-year loan from the Russian club Rubin, a move facilitated by the new sporting director Necat Aygun. During the previous season, Cuni was on loan at Bari in Serie B, where he scored two goals and provided one assist in 30 matches. He primarily plays as a central forward but is also capable of playing on both wings. Cuni has been capped once by the Albanian national team. His contract with Rubin Kazan runs until June 2028. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €500k.
