Terrier, 28 years old and formerly of Rennes, is recovering from an Achilles tendon rupture sustained in January of the previous year. Since his return to competition in mid-October, he has scored two goals in seven Bundesliga matches for Leverkusen this season. He joined Leverkusen in July 2024, and his contract runs until June 2029. He has 13 caps and 7 goals for the France U21 team.
