Indonesian international Marselino Ferdinan has joined AS Trenčín on a one-year loan from English second division club Oxford United, following a prolonged wait for the necessary documentation. Ferdinan conveyed his happiness regarding the loan and expressed gratitude to all those involved in facilitating the transfer. Prior to his stint in England, he played in Indonesia and Belgium. The 21-year-old attacking midfielder arrives at AS Trenčín, currently positioned second in the Niké liga, with the intention of contributing his skills in dribbling, running, and ball confidence. Ferdinan, who has accumulated 56 caps and 18 goals for the Indonesian national team, is eager to adapt to the Slovak league and aims to assist Trenčín in reaching the top of the table. He is already acquainted with the league through his friend Witan, a former player at Trenčín, and is enthusiastic about meeting his new teammates, coaching staff, and fans.
