Marlon Santos has officially returned to Shakhtar Donetsk after playing for Los Angeles in the USA. The contract details were not disclosed by the club, but according to Transfermarkt, the agreement will last for two seasons until the summer of 2027. His market value has decreased from 10 million euros to 3 million euros during his time away from Shakhtar Donetsk.

Marlon Santos, a 29-year-old central defender who has previously played for Barcelona and Fluminense, is set to make a return to Shakhtar Donetsk. He had departed from the club in July last year due to the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. Insider Fabrizio Romano has confirmed the transfer, indicating that the player will join Shakhtar Donetsk as a free agent. His arrival in Ukraine is anticipated to occur shortly. Marlon originally signed with Shakhtar in July 2021, during which he participated in 12 matches before being loaned out to Monza and later Fluminense.
