Stephen Robinson has confirmed 22-year-old centre-forward Marko Lazetic is likely to depart this summer. His manager has confirmed it is probably best for both parties if they separate and the Serbian under-21 cap looks for a new challenge. Robinson stated that Marko has not featured a lot under him and that, probably, for both parties, Marko needs to play football at his age. Robinson also stated that they feel it would be best for both parties if that did happen. Robinson also said that the press coverage has obviously come from Marko’s side rather than his and that it is something they will look at over the summer. Lazetić, who joined Aberdeen in August 2025, has a contract until June 2029 and a current Transfermarkt market value of €800k.
