According to Voetbalprimeur.nl, Fortuna Sittard has terminated Marko Kerkez's contract with immediate effect. A statement on Fortuna's website specified that the termination was by mutual agreement. The Serbian defender joined Fortuna last summer from Partizan Belgrado and signed a one-year contract at the end of August. This contract included an option for an additional year that will not be utilized.

According to De Limburger, Marko Kerkez is presumably now on the list of players that Fortuna Sittard wants to transfer.
