The Philadelphia Union are finalizing a deal to sign USMNT center back Mark McKenzie from FC Toulouse in January. The 27-year-old is set to return to his boyhood club for a fee of approximately $2.5m and will be signed as a Designated Player. The agreement for a January transfer was reached after Toulouse stated that a summer departure would not be permitted. McKenzie, who has 30 caps for the United States, joined the French club in August 2024 and has a contract that runs until 2027. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €7.00m, and Burnley have also been linked with the defender.
