He mentioned in an interview with 'Sport Bild' that there is a possibility to extend his expiring contract by one year. He expressed that if it makes sense for both the club and him, he is open to the possibility. He stated, 'If I could create my own contract, it wouldn't end next summer.' According to Transfermarkt, his market value is currently estimated at €4.00m.
