Maccabi Haifa is again showing interest in Marin Petkov, one of Levski's captains. According to sport5.co.il, the Israeli team plans to make a new, higher offer for the national player in January. Over the summer, the club was interested in the 22-year-old player and offered less than a million euros for his rights, while "Gerena" insisted on 1.3 million. Levski will not prevent a potential transfer of Marin, but insists on receiving at least 1.3 million euros for his rights.

According to Israeli media reports, Maccabi Haifa is a potential destination for Levski's 21-year-old Bulgarian winger, Marin Petkov. The club is seeking to recruit a new foreign winger, and Petkov is reportedly one of the candidates under consideration. A spot for an international player is expected to open on their roster, as French right-back Pierre Cornud is on track to acquire Israeli citizenship. Maccabi Haifa has already made contact with the player's representatives to explore a possible move. Previously, during the summer, Petkov was connected with Polish team Raków and Italian club Monza, along with interest from the USA, but no transfer materialized.
