Interest has also come from Italian clubs Juventus and Napoli. However, Barcelona are reportedly leading the effort to sign him; the Spanish club has accelerated negotiations and their interest has influenced the player. Senesi has two caps for Argentina and his current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €22 million. He moved to Bournemouth from Feyenoord in August 2022 for a €15 million fee, and in December 2024, the club's asking price was reportedly between €15-17 million.
