Marcos Luna Transfer from Real Zaragoza to Almería
Marcos Luna has officially joined Almería after an agreement was reached with Zaragoza for his transfer. The transfer fee is reported to be approximately 800,000 euros, divided into 600,000 fixed and 200,000 in variables, as stated by Diario de Almería. Luna had renewed his contract with Zaragoza until 2029 during the last winter transfer window, but a knee injury and the arrival of Gabi Fernández as coach resulted in him being sidelined. Almería expressed interest in signing him to strengthen the right-back position due to Marc Pubill's impending departure. Luna, who signed a contract with Almería until June 2030, is the fourth reinforcement for the club in this transfer window. In the previous season, he played 28 matches for Real Zaragoza across La Liga and the Copa del Rey, scoring two goals and providing two assists. His ability to play as an attacking right-back with a strong right foot for delivering dangerous crosses is seen as a valuable addition to the team. Luna has spent his entire career in the youth teams of Real Zaragoza and also had a loan spell at Real Unión.
