According to a report from Tuttomercato, Marco Varnier has signed a one-year contract with FC Sudtirol which expires on June 30, 2027. The agreement contains an option for an additional season that is triggered upon the fulfillment of predetermined conditions.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the transfer of 28-year-old Italian Centre-Back Marco Varnier from Juve Stabia to FC Südtirol is complete. Varnier joined Juve Stabia in July 2024 and made 18 appearances in Serie B during the 2025/2026 season, scoring one goal and providing one assist. The former Italy U21 international has four caps. His current market value is €500k, according to Transfermarkt.
