Marco Tumminello Transfer from Crotone to Salernitana
Danilo Caravello, the agent of Marco Tumminello, indicated that there is interest from Salernitana in his client. He mentioned that Salernitana had made a concrete offer two weeks prior, which was ultimately turned down by Crotone. Currently, the negotiations have hit a standstill as no club, including Salernitana, has been able to meet Crotone's financial demands for their key striker. Crotone is reportedly seeking around half a million euros plus potential bonuses. The transfer is considered significant and is unlikely to occur in the last week of the market unless a substantial offer is presented. Salernitana is among the few Serie C clubs that Tumminello's representatives view as a temporary step, with aspirations of moving up to Serie B. Tumminello, recognized as a structured forward who thrives in a two-striker system, has maintained an impressive goal-scoring record over the past two years, making him a highly sought-after player. Despite previous injuries, he has demonstrated his capabilities in both Serie A and B. Crotone, which acquired Tumminello three years ago, is now open to selling him this summer after having previously considered him intransferable. The upcoming 12-15 days are regarded as critical for resolving his transfer situation.
