Marco Ruggero, a 26-year-old Italian Centre-Back, could leave Spezia after six months and nine appearances, as his salary is incompatible with the club's new wage parameters following its relegation to Serie C. Südtirol, Vicenza, and Empoli have all shown interest in the defender. More recently, Catanzaro has made a move for the player. The Calabrian club has already signed Antonio Candela from Spezia. According to Il Secolo XIX, Catanzaro might offer around half a million euros. This is slightly below Spezia's valuation of €700,000 but would still represent a capital gain, as they acquired Ruggero for €350,000 in January. Ruggero's contract with Spezia is valid until June 2028, and his current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €900,000.
