According to Tuttomercato, Marco Imperiale is the new defender for Catanzaro, returning to the club after 8 years. The player stated that he is returning to the club where he began his football career and expressed great emotion about the transfer.

Nicolo Schira reported that Catanzaro is acquiring Marco Imperiale from Carrarese and that the exchange of documents is underway.

Marco Imperiale, a 27-year-old Italian Centre-Back and Carrarese's promotion-winning captain, is a target for Catanzaro, according to information gathered by TuttoMercatoWeb.com. The negotiation is described as very intense and not straightforward. Carrarese will not block a transfer if the player wants a new experience. This is in line with the club's policy of allowing key players from their historic promotion who have expressed a desire for new challenges to leave. His current market value on Transfermarkt is €1.00m, and he has also been linked with Benevento, Sampdoria, and Vicenza.
