According to Globo.com, Marco Antônio has been transferred to Luverdense. The 22-year-old midfielder has already undergone medical examinations and started training with the club. He arrives from Sport Sinop, for whom he played 12 matches and scored one goal in the Campeonato Mato-grossense, where he was one of the team's prominent players. His former side was eliminated from that competition by his new club, Luverdense, on penalties. Antônio's previous experience includes time in the youth systems of Londrina, Criciúma, and Joinville, and he was part of the Cuiabá squad that won the Campeonato Brasileiro de Aspirantes in 2022.
