The French club's sporting director, Grégory Lorenzi, has begun inquiries into the availability of the Poland international. A significant hurdle is Bułka's current salary, said to be around five million euros net per year, which Marseille cannot afford under its current cost-cutting measures. The Escola Varsovia graduate is highly regarded by OM's goalkeeping coach, Nicolas Dehon, with whom he has previously worked and who would like to work with the player again.
