In talks between Barcelona and Mallorca over the future of midfielder Pablo Torre, Barça have taken the opportunity to ask about 18-year-old striker Marc Doménech.

Barcelona and Marc Domènech have reportedly moved closer to reaching an agreement. Last summer, Barcelona had made an offer to Mallorca for their star youth player, but no deal was concluded. It was reported that Mallorca had demanded 1.5 million euros, while Barcelona's offer was just over half a million. The situation has recently gained momentum following a change in the player's agent, with Domènech now represented by Pini Zahavi, who has strong connections with Barcelona. Domènech is currently earning 33,000 € under a progressive contract, which could evolve into a professional first-team contract with a salary of 300,000 € by its third year. Reports suggest that if Barcelona intends to trigger his release clause, they must do so this summer for approximately 4 million euros.
