Goalkeeper Manuel Riemann, 37, has joined third-division side Alemannia Aachen after being without a club for six months. At Aachen, he will replace Jan Olschowsky, who was recalled from his loan by Borussia Mönchengladbach. According to Sporting Director Rachid Azzouzi, the club is acquiring a very experienced goalkeeper who has played in all three professional German leagues and will bring calmness and stability for the second half of the season. Riemann has signed a contract that is valid until the end of the current season.
