Salernitana has reached an agreement with Manuel Llano. An official statement from U.S. Salernitana 1919 announces that the Argentine right-back, who has played for Casertana for the past year and a half, has signed a contract with Salernitana until June 30, 2028.

Tuttomercato reports that the transfer of Llano is imminent. The publication states that Llano impressed Cosmi during the playoff matches between Salernitana and Casertana. A deal for the player is reported to be nearly complete, with Llano expected to sign a two-year contract that includes an option for a third. The signing is expected to be made official tomorrow.

Manuel Llano is a 26-year-old Argentine-Spanish right-sided player whose contract with Casertana is expiring. He had recently been linked to Salernitana, along with fellow Serie C clubs Union Brescia and Torres. However, interest has now come from Serie B, with Benevento and Virtus Entella having initiated the first contacts with the player and his agent. The Argentine is reportedly inclined to accept the offer from Virtus Entella, as the possibility of playing in a higher division could be decisive for his future.
