Monopoli and Campobasso are pursuing the signing of Benevento's 21-year-old Italian goalkeeper, Manuel Esposito, and are seeking a deal that is at least a loan. Pineto also has an interest in the player but is currently less actively involved. Benevento is delaying a decision because coach Antonio Floro Flores wants to take Esposito, who played in the final two games of the season, to the training camp for further assessment.
