Mamadou Sangare Transfer from Lens to Manchester United
Manchester United are considered frontrunners to sign RC Lens midfielder Mamadou Sangare. According to sources close to the player, he is excited by the prospect of joining Manchester United and sees it as the ideal step to advance his career. Manchester United's interest has recently intensified, and the club views Sangare as a cost-effective midfield reinforcement under Ruben Amorim. Lens are reluctant to sell mid-season due to their title push. His market value is rising to approximately €15m, and a substantial bid could persuade Lens to sell. Sangare’s upcoming participation in the Africa Cup of Nations with Mali could delay formal bids until mid-January, but it is expected that offers will follow swiftly.
Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing RC Lens midfielder Mamadou Sangare, and Chelsea are also monitoring the 23-year-old Malian international. Sangare joined Lens in August 2025 and is under contract with the club until 2030. In the current Ligue 1 season, he has contributed 1 goal and 1 assist in 15 appearances.
