Mamadou Diop, Grenoble's 26-year-old Mauritanian international goalkeeper, is expected to join AJ Auxerre. He was monitored by numerous Ligue 1 clubs, including Stade Brestois. Despite interest from Brest, Auxerre had considered the player a priority for several weeks and he is expected to sign a four-year contract with the club. Diop joined Grenoble in July 2022 and has earned 7 caps for Mauritania. According to Transfermarkt, his current valuation is €1.50m.
