Lechia Gdańsk has finalized all the formalities for the loan of Maksym Diaczuk from Dynamo Kyiv. Maksym Diaczuk arrived in Trójmieście a few days prior, and after successfully completing medical tests, signed the documents that confirmed his representation of the white and green colors for the 2025/2026 season. The president of Lechia Gdańsk, Paolo Urfer, expressed his pride in the trust-based relationship established with Dynamo Kyiv and conveyed his gratitude to Dynamo's president, Ihor Surkis, for consenting to Maksym's transfer to Lechia Gdańsk. Maksym Diaczuk joined Dynamo Kyiv in 2019, playing 48 matches for the senior team. In the previous season, he accumulated over 1000 minutes of play, primarily as a substitute, and celebrated winning the national championship with the club.

Maxim Dyachuk, a 21-year-old defender from Dynamo Kyiv, has joined Lechia Gdańsk, a Polish club. He is currently in Gdańsk, training individually while waiting for the opportunity to play. The Polish Football Association (PZPN) has not yet approved the registration of new players, including Dyachuk. Journalist Maciej Słomiński reported a high likelihood that Lechia will register all new players before the start of the Ekstraklasa season.

Maksym Diaczuk is set to join Lechia Gdańsk on a one-year loan from Dynamo Kyiv. The Ukrainian defender, who played 14 matches in the last campaign and was part of the team that won the national championship, has been seen training at Lechia's gym. According to TaToTake, Dynamo Kyiv's coach Oleksandr Shovkovskyi does not have plans for Maksym Dyachuk. The Ukrainian defender, who has a contract with Dynamo Kyiv until the summer of 2028 and has played 14 matches this season providing one assist, will join Polish club Lechia Gdańsk on loan. Transfermarkt currently estimates his market worth at 1.20 million euros.
