Magnus Knudsen Transfer from Holstein Kiel to AGF

Magnus Knudsen is returning to AGF on a permanent deal from the German club Holstein Kiel. The 24-year-old Norwegian midfielder, who previously left the club in 2024, has signed a contract until the summer of 2030. AGF's sporting director, Carsten V. Jensen, stated that it is an advantage Knudsen already knows the club and city. Jensen also said that, more importantly, he is a player who fits the club's profile, describing him as aggressive, dynamic, and forward-thinking. Jensen noted that Knudsen can cover multiple positions and is a player who can contribute immediately. Knudsen has previously played 36 matches and scored three goals for AGF. While no official transfer sum was mentioned, reports confirmed the fee was €1.75 million plus €500,000 in possible bonuses. In the 2025/2026 season, he made 17 appearances for Holstein Kiel in the 2. Bundesliga. The midfielder has 5 caps for the Norway U20 team and has a current market value estimated by Transfermarkt at €2.50 million.
