Pogoń Szczecin have announced the signing of Mads Agger. Agger is a 26-year-old right winger, who can also play in attack and on the left side. The Dane previously played for Soenderjyske. Information about the player's departure appeared on the official website of the Danish club, where sports director Casper Daather stated that the transfer involved a respectful and open dialogue between the club and the player. Daather said that Mads Agger has a great dream to play abroad, and the club knew about it when they extended his contract in the autumn. He added that the opportunity for a move abroad has now arisen, terms have been agreed, and they are happily and proudly sending Mads Agger to the Polish league. Agger has signed a contract with Pogoń until 2029, which includes an option for an extension by another year.

Sønderjyske Fodbold officially confirmed that Mads Agger will join Pogoń Szczecin. The player will move to Szczecin for three and a half years for five hundred thousand euro, because this amount was included in his contract with Sønderjyske Fodbold.
