Piotr Kamieniecki from Sport.TVP.pl reported that Legia Warsaw will extend Maciej Ruszkiewicz’s contract and then send him on loan to first-division side Pogoń Grodzisk Mazowiecki. Maciej Ruszkiewicz had been preparing for the season with Legia Warsaw’s first team but coach Marek Papszun did not consider him a valuable option.

Marek Papszun stated that Maciej Ruszkiewicz is closer to being loaned out, as he may have limited chances to play at Legia Warszawa. Papszun said they believe Ruszkiewicz should play at a higher level than the second division and confirmed that talks are ongoing regarding this loan. Papszun also mentioned that there are still contract issues to consider for Maciej Ruszkiewicz.
