GKS Katowice confirmed the acquisition of Maciej Kikolski from Widzew Łódź on a one-year loan, and the agreement includes a purchase option.

Piotr Koźmiński reported that Maciej Kikolski is nearing a transfer to GKS Katowice. It is not yet known in what form GKS intends to finalize the transfer of the 22-year-old. Widzew Łódź did not include Kikolski on the list of players who began preparations for the new season and responded to questions about his situation that they will provide information.

Polish goalkeeper Maciej Kikolski will leave Widzew Łódź in the summer transfer window. The 22-year-old, who joined the club in July 2025 and is contracted until June 2029, will leave Widzew. It is likely that he will remain in the Ekstraklasa, as several teams from the Polish top division are reportedly interested in him. Kikolski has represented Poland at the U21 level.
