Globo.com reported that Alex Bourgeois, the CEO of Portuguesa, revealed the club had received a proposal for Maceió from a team in Romania. The player was not interested in the transfer.

Negotiations are underway involving the 22-year-old Brazilian forward Maceió. The SAF has publicly stated that it does not intend to loan Maceió and will only release him for purchase or payment of his release clause. The right winger joined Portuguesa in September 2024 and his contract is set to expire at the end of December 2027.
