Luuk de Jong leaving PSV?

Luuk de Jong is currently a free agent and can sign a contract elsewhere. He has been offered individual training by PSV, but this should not be taken as an indication of his future. Marcel Brands, PSV's general director, has stated that if Luuk delays too long in making a decision, the club will have to move on, as they need two strikers for the next season.

Luuk de Jong's absence from PSV's first training session of the season has sparked uncertainty about his future at the club. With his contract set to expire today, De Jong has yet to announce his plans regarding his career in Eindhoven. The club's management expressed a desire for greater clarity, noting that the delay is causing some frustration. Additionally, the situation is complicated by Ricardo Pepi's current suboptimal physical condition, although he is expected to be fully fit by the August 3 match against Go Ahead Eagles. Sporting director Earnest Stewart is considering other potential candidates for a new striker, which could threaten De Jong's position at the club.

Luuk de Jong did not appear for PSV's first training session as his contract is expiring. He is contemplating his future plans and has been given time by PSV to make a decision. The club may need to move on if no decision is made soon.

According to The Daily Record, Luuk de Jong is open to a move to Rangers FC. However, it is unclear if the Scottish club is seriously pursuing his transfer at this moment. De Jong has a contract with PSV until June 30, 2025, and PSV wants to continue with him as their captain. De Jong has expressed interest in either staying at PSV or undertaking one more foreign adventure. Transfermarkt currently estimates his market worth at 2.50 million euros.
