Ross County have signed 21-year-old Scottish right winger Luke McCarvel from Kelty Hearts for an undisclosed fee. McCarvel, who joined Kelty Hearts in July 2024 and was named his previous club's young player of the year, was still in negotiations with Kelty according to their end-of-campaign retained list, but has now transferred ahead of the 2026/27 season. Ross County manager Stuart Kettlewell described McCarvel as an exciting young talent and a notable player at Kelty Hearts, adding that he possesses pace and power and will be a player the supporters will enjoy watching.
