Sigma Olomouc's coach, Tomáš Janotka, has confirmed the club's interest in signing three players from Slovan Liberec: 21-year-old Czech centre-forward Lukáš Mašek, Vojtěch Stránský, and Ermin Mahmič. Janotka stated that a meeting between the management of the two clubs has occurred and that some initial discussions took place. In response, Slovan Liberec's owner, Ondřej Kania, posted on his Instagram account that the three players have potential for major European leagues. He added that he would be willing to discuss their sale to Olomouc, but only when the club is playing in a competition such as the Bundesliga or La Liga, and that until then, they would not be sold even for a billion. Mašek joined Liberec in July 2025, has scored 6 goals in 17 Chance Liga appearances this season, and has 6 caps and 4 goals for the Czechia U21 national team.
